Welcome to Rim Shoals Resort, a family-owned and operated haven on the White River for over 30 years
Our journey began with humble beginnings as we transformed what were once crawfish ponds into a thriving resort. In 1996, we built our inaugural cabin, The Whitlock Cabin, and installed our dock, marking the birth of Rim Shoals Resort. Since then, we have continued to expand, adding seven more cabins, with the final one completed in 2010.
In 1996, we partnered with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) to establish the first catch and release trophy area on the White River. Conservation of this beautiful and valuable resource is a priority for us, and we take pride in being the only resort located in a trophy area throughout the entire White River system.
Our resort’s crown jewel is undoubtedly our renowned brown trout population, attracting anglers from all corners of the globe. The world-class fishing opportunities here are unrivaled, and we are honored to be part of this extraordinary experience.

As a full-service river outfitter, a single phone call is all it takes to book your lodging, arrange expert guides for both fly fishing and spin fishing, and even cater meals. Our riverside pavilion offers a picturesque setting for hosting events, accommodating gatherings from intimate groups to larger parties of over 75 people.

While we do list our rentals on vacation rental websites, we are far more than just that. With a dedicated housekeeping staff, groundskeepers, and a brick and mortar office and shop, we take pride in providing a true home away from home experience.
