White River Fishing Guides

When you book a guided fishing trip with us, know that you”re going to be in the best hands the White River has to offer. Our guides at Rim Shoals are nothing short of world class possessing the skill, techniques, and gear that sets them far from the rest of the pack.

Rim Shoals Resort can cater to just about anything when it comes to our guided trips. A typical day consists of eight hours of being on the water for a full day and four hours for a half day. What location you’ll be putting in and taking out at really depends on water conditions and what spots are most productive. All of our full day fishing trips include a box lunch with water and soft drinks. Our half day trips include water and soft drinks.

Fly Fishing Trips

Come experience world class fly fishing on the White River with our inhouse guides! Guides will provide a selection of limited flies, tippet, and leaders. We recommend you bring waders, boots, and your own rod and reels. If you are traveling light or a beginner, have no fear our guides can accommodate those needs. If you’re an avid tyer or like to use your own flies, just call in advance and we’ll be glad to let you know what patterns are working well.

Spin Fishing Trips

When you take a guided spin fishing trip with us, know that you’re going to be in the best hands the White River has to offer. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned fisherman seeking that trophy Brown, our spin guides at Rim Shoals are nothing short of world class. They possess the skill, techniques, and gear that sets them far from the rest of the pack. Feel free to bring your own favorite gear but our guides provide all the rods, reels, bait, tackle and ample stories. All you need to do is sit back, relax, and go fishing.

Wade Fishing at Rim Shoals

The Rim Shoals area was the first section of the White River to be turned into a catch and release trophy area for one reason and one reason only. Rim Shoals is the premiere spot on the entire White River system to wade fish…hands down. From accessibility, structure, gravel flats, riffles and deep pools to its multiple islands, Rim Shoals is the perfect storm for holding large trophy fish and in big numbers. Anyone who fishes the White River frequently will tell you the same thing, Rim Shoals is the place to wade fish.
